Program Name:
In Good Company
Services offered: Short-term
care of a child or an adult with a developmental disability. Care
can be provided for a period of a few hours up to two weeks, in
the family's home, in the respite provider's home, or in the community.
The program helps families find, screen & train qualified respite
care providers and subsidizes the cost of up to 140 hours of respite
care/year.

program has a waiting list of up to 5 years. Contact the Program
Director directly to begin the eligibility determination process.
Target population is: Dane
County families who are living with a child or an adult with a developmental
disability due to mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy,
autism, or brain trauma.
